As I was preparing the guide for last Saturday's Free Museum Day, I was inspired to look deeper into Orange County history. While I'm no buff, I find it interesting to look at how the past has shaped present day O.C.
From the Ranchos and clashes between Native Americans and early European settlers, to repurposed military bases and the clash between nature and modern living -- there are pieces of history all over the county.
