I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet. I know, I'll pay for my procrastination by standing in long check out lines. Thing is, I don't buy into the consumer gluttony of the holiday season. And since the boys always want some plastic piece of crap, I set a low budget and usually only buy a couple things.
Lately though, I've been feeling more in the gift-giving mood. While it may seem easy to shop big-box, I never find anything quite as special as I had hoped. So this year, I'm going to try something different, and check out a few craft fairs while there's still time. Shopping craft fairs might not be the most efficient holiday shopping, but it increases the likelihood that I'll find something quirky, artsy, unique -- and perfect for that special someone.
