Orange County Chocolate Festival

This indulgent event is a benefit for the Fountain Valley Community Foundation and other local charities. The O.C. Chocolate Festival is “a big party” featuring the wares of about 70 chocolatiers, bakers, candy makers and wine vendors. General admission is $25 and includes eight chocolate tastings and three wine tastings. VIP tickets are available to for $50 and additional tastings can be purchased a la carte at the event.
OC Jewish Arts Festival

The Blue Man Group

The Christmas Company

Staser Fall Scholastic Chess Tournament

Sugarplum Festivals

This arts and craft festival features jewelry, ornaments, antiques, beads, other handmade goods and artisan foods. Admission is free and while there is one more showing in December, the November festival is the big Christmas holiday show.
Kush Expo

This is a trade show of all things medical marijuana, with everything from hemp clothing, paraphernalia and growing equipment, to free shuttle service to and from local dispensaries. There will also be doctors on site, as well as live musical performances, a Hot Kush Girl Contest, and a custom car show.
Pacific Symphony Youth Orchastra

The Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra returns to Orange County to start the fall concert season with “The Planets,” a space themed concert including “Star Wars” and other celestial inspired titles.
Thanksgiving Turkey Trot

The Dana Point Turkey Trot is a 5k/10k race and part of the Southern California USATF Championship, 2011 Road Running Grand Prix Series. Proceeds from the race benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County and the Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group. Participants can register by mail through Nov 12 and online registration is open until Nov 20. Last minute participants can register in person on the day of the event.
